Rochelle has been a volunteer for the arts and community organizations since her early years. She volunteered in the marketing department of the original Los Angeles Ballet in the 1970s, worked with Habitat for Humanity in the 1990s helping to build houses and qualifying eligible families, refurbishing houses with Inglewood Neighborhood Housing
She has coordinated, organized, promoted, and produced workshops, musicals, seminars, art shows and auctions, for various nonprofit organizations since her early teen years. While employed as the volunteer coordinator for the Inglewood Senior Center she founded a nonprofit organization, Friends of the Inglewood Senior Center.
Rochelle, is also a founding member of Inglewood Cultural Arts, Inc., the most active private nonprofit organization dedicated to the arts in Inglewood. She has been active on the board of directors [as secretary] since its founding in 1999. She has been responsible for coordinating more than one fundraiser for this organization and conceived and coordinated its first public arts tour in 2002. Her love for cultural arts and education always has been her motivation for contributing in these areas.
